Travel Guide: The Wilderness Escapes

Have you been to Lake Taupo in New Zealand?

Lake Taupo, which is the largest lake, located in the North Island of New Zealand. Around the lake has many attractions for holidaymakers.  Such as Bungy Jumping, Sky Diving, sailing and Hot SPA. But I'd like to share with you about my experience is " The Wilderness Escapes".

"The Wilderness Escapes" is name of   kayaking trips in Lake Taupo.
There are brilliantly experienced guides, full instruction guides and include fully equipment. Not only does it guide, it is also have a great experience and make friends during your holiday.   Last time, I took a half-day (3hours) kayaking trip. It was cost around  NZ$85 pp including trance port, which is from your accommodation to the Lake, and refreshments.

Why did I try to kayaking in Lake Taupo?

Main my reason is that I would like to see the Maori rock carvings. The Maori rock carvings are only accessible by boat or kayak. I've been experienced of kayaking, so this time was second time experience for me. The kayaking tour's highlight is the 10 metres tall Maori rock carving.

If you are so fed up with ordinary holiday, I'd definitely this experience and I would say that you won't disappointed to do. There is the best season to go is during summer which is in December-March, because the weather is stunningly beautiful and you can spend a absolutely enjoyable time while kayaking.

Lastly, I would like to appreciate for Michael who gave us for fabulously historical knowledge of Lake Taupo, wild life, and magnificent scenery spots. I had a grate memorable holiday. I promise, I'll be back here and I'll try more long distance kayaking trip!!

Would you like to join it with me?
